Alas, it’s Friday! I thought this week would never end. It’s been a few weeks since I worked a full 5 days in a row so of course this one was rough. I’ve been waiting all week for tonight which will be spent bumming on my couch and eating my favorite take-out salad. So pathetic, I know. My grandma’s life is 10x more exciting than mine. She’ll probably be headed to Atlantic City for some penny slots while I’m watching a Say Yes to the Dress episode that I’ve already seen twice before. She will also probably have some fun/romantic plans for Valentine’s Day whereas Jeremy and I will likely be glued to the couch (this couch gets a lot of use). He isn’t one for ‘Hallmark holidays’ and I can’t really blame him. The only year we did battle the dinner crowds was our first year of dating and it should be known that he texted me around 3pm on the 14th to ask me out for dinner that night, haha talk about last minute planning. Either way, since I can’t resist playing dress up I’ve put together a Valentine’s Day inspired look for all you ladies who are being wined and dined on the 14th or are headed out for a girl’s night! This blush Kate Spade purse is my newest addition thanks to Jeremy. He insisted that I didn’t really need it (duh, but I wanted it!) because I have the ‘same one’ in pink. If he can have the same Old Navy shirt in white, blue, green and every other color under the sun then I deserve to have a Kate in every color (yes, I call all my Kate Spade bags ‘Kate’).
